Wildfire

The Jungle Inferno Update is out, featuring flammable trees and oil, and brand-new (heh) fire textures! Check out the changelog for a complete list of features here!
Wildfire is a mod that adds completely functional fire to the game, and makes it possible to ignite wood, plants, and oil using flamethrowers or Molotovs!
Once spawned, fire will realistically spread to flammable things nearby and burn them. Additionally, wooden blocks and platforms have a chance to become charred instead of destroyed.
More features can be found here.
This mod uses a detection technique that automatically determines whether a block/object should be flammable or not. As a result, it is highly compatible with other mods.
A detailed explaination of this technique can be found here.
Exceptions: Mods which add scripts to the molotovflame or flamethrower projectile (basically mods that change the way Molotovs and flamethrowers work). These would require a compatibility patch.
Q: Is this compatible with x?
A: See above.
Q: How do I put it out?
A: Fire is extinguished by all liquids save for lava and oil, and by removing the blocks it’s on.
Q: Are protected tiles flammable?
A: No.
Q: I burned them. I burned them all. They’re dead, every single one of them. And not just the blue rose Florans, but the red rose Florans and the Floran buds, too.
A: This is not a question.
