The Angevellian

The Angevellian is a Hyper-efficient, Upgradeable, & Interchangeable Battleship. Coming in as a humble non quantum, I built this ship around the 1-Drive thruster over-under arrangement I used in my Night-Train SV, to create a Battleship with strong performance handling and a surprising amount of weaponry as a Non-Quantum.
The Angevellian has Uniform Yaw/pitch control, High-G Performance, & 48 Airframe Integrated Solar panels. Not only is it a joy to fly for a ship of it’s class and tonnage, it flies weapons-off, Radar on at Virtually ZERO fuel consumption.
The ship was built as an interchangeable platform, it will house up to 5 Shield Arrays in it’s individually armored Forward compartments, or the compartments can be armored and decoyed for tanking ability. The ship comes with 1 Forward component section w/ 4 Hex-Blocked Decoys, so it can tank Legacy ships in it’s default loadout as a non quantum. It will also completely crush Nullifiers, with a loadout of 12 Laser turrets, 12 Positrons, 4 Missile turrets, and 8 Manual fire Positrons, the ship is equipped with a Heavy, and versatile weapons load-out for fighting any enemy that may present itself. 24 Anti-Shield turrets + a Handful of Missiles to punch armor and knock out generators. The Loadout is excellent in both Multiplayer and Singleplayer, as it is 100% hitscan/homing.
Nearly every turret on the ship is made to be retractable, and it fits about 60 of them. Each retractable has an armor buffer directly in front of it, so any fire you take at your turrets splashes against the armor, and not the turret. A single Manual Missile launcher decoy is stowed in your forward compartment to draw fire to your nose, and away from your active turrets and weapons. I can kill an Eradicator with this ship in it’s default non-quantum Loadout.
The overrall profile of the ship is tight, for a narrow profile, allowing you to hide in the shadow of enemy ships and take them from behind when needed, out of sight of the majority of their turrets.
This ship starts out incredibly strong for a non-quantum, using only 1 of of the most efficient thruster for every direction, and upgrades into an ungodly freakbeast 8.2 Million CPU behemoth that will kill 2 Dreadnoughts at once in under 5 minutes. It will blow the core out of a Dreadnought in < 60 Seconds. It doesn’t win, it crushes. Fully upgraded, this ship completely trivializes Reforged Eden 1.7 Content.
Any untextured Carbon you see in the airframe is meant to me removed to house Thruster Additions, this ship gets significantly faster as it is upgraded, and will dodge both high speed projectiles, and outrun missiles in an upthrusting roll in it’s maxxed out configuration, so it has both a massive shield, and the ability to dodge or evade all non-hitscan fire, allowing it to clear entire sectors & kill entire fleets.
The Well-rooms on your starboard and Port sides house 4 Tier-2 Shield Components, and the ship’s nose can house up to FIVE arrays. The ship’s engine compartment will house a Fusion Reactor, and there is additional Generator upgrade space in it’s Aft compartment.
