most of the features are done and working, with the absence of
the unit upgrade system, aor version and a few smaller features.
once these are complete the mod will enter full release.
About the mod:
This mod is an historical recreation of events in the years 66 – 73 AD.
It focuses on the first Jewish-Roman war AKA "The Great Revolt" and the Roman civil war which followed the suicide of
emperor Nero in 68, also known as "The Year Of The Four Emperors"
What, in short does this mod do?:
Using the Imperator Augusts campaign pack,
the mod completely overhaul the expense of the Roman empire (69 AD) splitting it’s territories
between the three left claiments to the imperial throne: Otho, Vitellius, and Vespasianus.
as well as add all the work already done by me and others,
on my mod: KOJ-Judea overhaul ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=317348535 ) , for the Jewish rebels,
with the addition of new content specific to this mod.
Also all the factions swallowed by the Roman Empire (that were in IA) will be able to rebel like the Jews during the course of the campaign.
civil war mechanic:
In order to make the Roman civil war more realistic and immersive I did the following:
1) Removed garrisons from all Roman buildings except province capital cities.
2) Added new military subchain named "Loyal Garrison" total of 3 levels with increasing amount of
garrison units and the ability to train legionaries from level 2.
3) Added the new buildings (level 1 and 2) to some of the border (roman-not roman borders only) settlements to make sure the empire is not left completely open to invasions (it is still weakened as it should be)
