Colonization for Everyone – Chaos Edition
Ever wanted to colonize as Finland but by the time you have sufficient colonial range the entire east coast of the Americas is taken by Britain, France, Portugal, and Spain? Maybe establish a colony in California from Vietnam? Well, now you can! With this mod everyone gets infinite colonial range at game start, which means even if you have a single port in Eastern Europe, even you can get a chance at colonization!
Of course, this version of the mod is very likely to be chaotic. If a country has a port, the AI is very likely to choose exploration ideas, which means the New World, random or not, should have an abundance of colonies. They are also somewhat more likely to choose expansion ideas. Also, colonial maintenance cost has been cut to a quarter of what it was before, so anyone can afford to expand their colonial empires!
Versions without the AI factor modifications and decreased maintenance cost.
