Description:

Automatic or manual 8-gear combinative transmission with extra reverse and low gear, requiring 4 gearbox blocks.

• Overall gear ratios are:
  0.16

  0.22

  0.31

  0.4

  0.5

  0.68

  0.9

  1.21

• In manual mode gears are shifting sequentially. In automatic mode gear shifting is tuned only by a single engine RPS threshold, which should be slightly lower than maximum engine RPS.
• When Manual type is selected, the numeric output node indicates the current gear. When Auto type is selected, transmission is in Drive mode by default and the numeric output node indicates current mode:
  2 Low gear

  1 Drive

  0 Parking

  -1 Reverse

• In order to limit the top speed you can cut the top gear down to 5-th in microcontroller properties.
• The 0-gear is just a placeholder between reverse and 1-gear or Drive mode, so you need a clutch to emulate the Neutral gear in your setup.

• Set the gear shifting buttons to the PUSH mode.
• Transmission requires 4 gearboxes and torque meter, which should be assembled in the following order:
  Engine

  Clutch

  Gearbox 1

  Gearbox 2

  Gearbox 3

  Gearbox 4

  Torque meter

  Wheels
