Series 103 train
Series 103 trains were manufactured by the Japan National Railways starting in 1963. They were deployed on commuter lines throughout Japan and were used in metropolitan areas throughout the country, including Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima. Ultimately, 3,447 cars were built, making it Japan’s most widely manufactured train.
