The Omni Laser is a Multi-purpose, Multi-role Middle & End-game SV, focused on mining & tunneling. Omni Laser is built from the airframe of the Omni ATK PvP Attack fighter, suped up and rebuilt to specialize as a miner, the ship is INCREDIBLY fast and maneuverable. It’s thrust is apportioned for 5G+ Horizontal and vertical dip mining. Unlike Other miners in this class, the Omni can Dip-mine, and tunnel, and rotate freely inside of it’s own hole, up, down, and side to side.
With Nearly 15k Harvest storage and the thrust to carry 6,000 Gold ore STanding on it’s face, or right-side up, this is a mid-size miner that beats the Hauling capacity of full 56k CPU heavy miners. The Omni actually hauls more weight Dip-mining than the 14 drill, Max CPU "Hellraider" miner, at half the price, and with better maneuverability and practicality.
Because it was built from a competitive PvP fighter, the Omni can double-duty as a Coring ship, or a direct-attack aircraft, Replace it’s drills with 6-8 plasmas and you can quite easily kill a Kamirat in this SV, and I have, many times.
With a standard shield, rear-mounted guard turret, and 3 Tight-to-cockpit Laser cannons, you will not be bothered by drones! You obliterate drones. And anything that crawls into your drill hole behind you is going to have a face-to-face with your Laser turret.
