Wanda, The Ingenuitive Illustrator

A struggling children’s book illustrator hits an all time low in her art career and creative inspiration, leaving her without means to survive or produce her work. In her despair, she receives a mysterious package containing a pencil and letter, instructing her to design a creature most foul in return for her inspiration and career opportunity back. With a lack of options and a prodding curiosity, she takes the offer and puts together an image of true nightmares, only to be pulled into the page by the beast itself and thrown into the dreary world of Don’t Starve. Finding incredible interest in her odd new surroundings, Wanda excitedly gets to work creating all sorts of peculiar objects with her mysterious pencil, all while trying to stay alive in the harsh wilderness.

WANDA’S PENCIL – STARTING ITEM
Wanda’s Pencil doesn’t do much on its own, but is a craftable item that can be used to make the Despair Axe and the Hopeless Pickaxe. These special tools have more durability and power than the standard Axe and Pickaxe, in case you need to get some serious work done or get yourself out of a pinch.
DEVELOPMENT UPDATE 2/16/17:
After a long hiatus, Astadyl, myself, and some other developers I’m still trying to get in contact with are going to be brushing up the mod. I’m working on the personalized voice lines again, and if all goes well there should be a patch ready by 3/9/17.
Once again, I apologize for my unannounced hiatus. I really hope you all can enjoy Wanda to her full extent very soon!
