Description:

It’s finally here!

I present to you, Vanguard Engineering’s Flagship Product, the VE Drydock Workshop Combo Mk.1!

A feature complete drydock, the Mk.1 has all of the functions you need in an operational drydock.
– Working Door
– Working Crane (yes, it’s CAT yellow)
– Working drain (bewarned, it is NOT recommended to look at the logic connections if you do not have a good computer)
– Auxiliary Workshop
– Tool Shelf
– Stair Access
– Controllable dock lights
– Swinging lights
– Foldable Walk-around Catwalks

Modeled after 1920’s architecture, the drydock features HUGE "steel" windows, to maximize natural light, and utilizes Carbon Arc lighting in all of its lights.

Thanks to Stormworks blackmagic, whether the door is open or closed, waters within the dock will never get rough (this can make for awkward transitions in and out though)

The door is controlled via the helm along the workshop side wall.

Tips and Tricks
– The crane winch controls are a little convoluted, sorry, will be fixed
– Press W to increase winch length
– Press S to decrease winch length
– Watch out for the lights when operating the crane
– Before spawning a ship in the dock, turn on worldview and verify the ship is actually in the dock, not clipping into it
– Turn on Infinite Electric
– Fire Extinguishers are on the tool wall
– Make sure to lower your ship in the build area before spawning, so it doesn’t fall.
– If you are getting low frames, lower or disable "Light Volume Quality," and disable "Bloom"
