THIS MOD REQUIRES Divide Et Impera parts 1,2 and 3!!

Introduction & Contents

Greetings, this submod simply makes the following changes to indirectly increase the utility of vassals. This should give players more incentive to form client states or satrapies rather than just occupy territories they conquer.

  • You may levy 1 extra unit from client states at imperium level 3, 2 extra units at imperium level 4, and 3 extra units from imperium levels 5 to 8.
  • Trade tariffs for client states are increased by 10% at imperium level 3, 15% at level 4, 20% at level 5, 25% at levels 6 to 8.

I personally recommend using this mod in conjunction with my new "War and Peace " mod so you can force enemies to sign peace treaties as client states with overwhelming force without any diplomatic consequences that would render your faction treacherous, leading to the betrayal of all your other allies.

Installation & Compatibility
  • To install, first subscribe to this mod, and place this mod above the 3 DEI parts in the mod launcher.
  • Due to the simple nature of this submod, you do not have to place this submod above other submods.
  • This mod is save game compatible, and will likely be compatible with all future versions of DEI.
  • Although this mod will be multiplayer compatible, multiplayer in R2 is often a very buggy process that I will not be able help much should it become an issue. All I can say regarding this is make sure both parties have the identical setup and mod load order when attempting multiplayer.

All of the texts and entries used in making this submod are not my original work, and are credited to the DEI team.
I have merely rearranged & edited existing content from DEI and the R2 native files to create this submod.
Seriously, go make a donation for DEI or something. The project deserves it.
