Trebizond, the last bulwark for the legitimate claimer of the throne of Eastern Roman Empire. Before the fallen of Constantinople into the hand of crusaders at 1204, grandchildren of Andronikos Komnenos, Alexious Komnenos and his brother David Komnenos, had anticipated the upcoming failure and fled the city. With the help of their protector, Queen Tamari of Georgia, two brothers captured the city of Trebizond, which was by that time the most important military garrison and prosperous trade port in Pontus region, and later Alexious Komnenos crowned himself as the emperor of Roman Empire. Although 258 years had passed since the last emperor of Komnenoi dynasty ruled over the eternal Roman Empire in Constantinople, the members of royal family of the so called Trebizond Empire would never forget how their glorious ancestor, Alexious I Komnenos, had saved the Roman Empire from seemingly irreversible extinguishment and how most of their house members had been slaughtered by their fellow countrymen during internal conflicts as well as foreign heathens and heretics during invasion. The flame of revenge burnt in their chest, but the hard cold fact was that they were truly the last hope and lineal descendent for the Komnenoi family, and their power seemed to be so minute compared to their rivals.
The Kingdom of Trebizond, ruled by the Komnenos family in the Pontic Mountains region on the southern coast of the Black Sea, was destroyed by the Ottoman Empire in 1461.
It was the last descendant of the Komnenos dynasty, which had revived the empire, and one of the last cessionist regimes of the Eastern Romans. When the clock is turned back to 1444, on the eve of the final demise, there seems to be a glimmer of hope of turning things around.

2.Trebizond Mission:
Start with the option of merging or vassalising Theodoro through the mission, retaking territory in the Crimea through a Spy network, befriending Georgia or annexing it and expanding into the Caucasus.

6. Added the Byzantine Greek/Balkan/Anatolian/Roman/Asian Minor Restoration decisions for (Eastern Rome/Rome).
When (Eastern Rome/Rome) converts the entire region of Hudavendigar, Aydin, Germiyan to Orthodoxy, an event will be triggered to decide whether or not to expel the Turks from the region；

Theme is a special republican vassal that does not occupy diplomatic relations and can assist the Empire in its military operations, but also periodically triggers an event asking for points, manpower, money and legitimacy from the Empire, the refusal of which increases its liberty desire.
