Multi-Axle-Ackermann
Allows you to set up Ackermann steering easily. You’ll need a box for every steering axle. See the pictures for how to set up the numbers.
When a car turns, the inner wheel has a smaller circle it needs to cover than the outer wheel. Turning the wheels the same amount will cause one to slip. To fix this, the inner wheel is turned farther than the outer wheel. With that said, I made this for looks and don’t know how much of a steering benefit it provides in Stormworks.
The math is actually quite simple, its just high-school trigonometry. I encourage you to try and learn it yourself, the last photo shows what the microcontroller is calculating. You’ll have to view it in full mode, steam’s compression sort of had its way with it.
