XP based on enemy strength
In vanilla xp is calculated by type of battle result. Heroic Victory will give you 1400 XP, Decisive Victory = 1000 XP, Valiant Defeat = 600 XP and so on.
This mod adds some changes:
1. XP is now calculated by enemy strength (gold based value). Winning against very strong armies will give you much more experience than heroic/decisive victory in vanilla.
2. Sacking settlements with very weak (shattered) garrisons is nerfed approximately by 50%. It is still viable, but not as effective as it was in vanilla.
3. Added bonuses and nerfs based on character level. (for balancing new XP system)
Before 20 level: +10% XP
20 – 30 level: -20% XP
After 30 level: -40% XP
4. During lightning strikes XP is calculated a little bit differently because there were problems. The more forces you eliminate during battle – the more XP you will get after.
Note:
AI has all the changes.
You can enable/disable this mod at any time. (script mod).
This mod is balanced only for vanilla (tested on legendary difficulty). In SFO or other overhaul it may not work as intended.
I made this mod because I like how CA reworked xp gaining in Total War: WARHAMMER III. Another problem I wanted to solve is leveling secondary lords and characters in late game. It takes too much time until they get immortality in vanilla.
