CHAF Miner (Ref.Eden)
Unlock level 7, CPU T1 (at 4218) starter Miner – specifically designed in/for Reforged Eden.
There is not much to say. It’s not fancy, it’s a tool.
But this tool is cheap as dirt and can be loaded with 100 tons at 1G.
Materials needed in Reforged Eden:
608 Carbon substrate
325 Iron
254 Copper
177 Silicon
20 minutes, 42 seconds build time.
As with all things "CHAF" – it will get you there.
1 Fixed gatling gun, 547 ammo storage
2 Drills, 5172 harvest storage.
You can put a harvester module on the craft but you have to dismount the minigun, as the cheese grinder is 1000 CPU in this mod.
Wireless cargo access on board.
O2 station and fridge are on board, armor locker is not. The reason for this is that the craft is "bare essentials" and the armor locker is better placed at a non hostile POI. You don’t need energy, you don’t need a core to place and use that.
There is a spot at the roof in the rear compartment for a med station, once you get there.
The function "Mining" in the P menue disables the minigun and the front "wheels", activates the drills.
Mining should be performed at around 0.9 m hover hight. It is able to perform a 180° under ground.
