CONFIG Hinata Moon MK1 Gaki
(This mod requires the Porsche DLC)
Gaki (Japanese: 餓鬼 or がき, meaning "hungry ghost") are suffering spirits.
They will try to eat anything, but are never able to find nourishment.
This is the Hinata Moon MK1 Gaki V-10. It is only available at auction and at the Salon,
but Hinata Motor Inc. has build these amazing cars at relative low cost. Even new at the salon, they are only 120k. Despite its low cost, its considered one of Hinata’s best racing cars.
The car features:
– V10 DOHC 980 Porsche racing engine.
– A high mounted trunk ECU that allows for a nice top overview of engine in mechanics mode.
– RPM dial in the car is properly matched to the right engine RPM of the vehicle.
– Amazing high revving engine.
– Wide tires/stance for ultimate racing.
– Premium cooling system.
– Car has correct engine weight.
This car was made mainly for the local CMS21 racing club. Every so often we
post our track times and compare different vehicle classes and engine types. Our focus is
to fine tune cars and achieve track lap times below 01:20 (or for us older folks, below 01:30).
These times have to be achieved without crashing the car in a way that would
stop you from racing irl.
This also means that cars I configure are "real" in that I don’t make zero-weight, super go-carts.
I stay within 10-15% of the specs of the engine that is in the vehichle and of its weight.
I don’t boost it’s performance outside the norm. So my Flamo might have a twin turbo.
It still won’t handle like a Zonda, it’s still a Flamo.
Please know to make this car perform like it should, do not over-tune. Try different tires
(Slicks back and race front etc). You will need to upgrade the brake systems. Most of all,
invest in a high-quality, custom gearbox. The standard box it comes with won’t do.
For proper racing this car you will need at least 8 gears. With all that, I think she can do
below 01:20 at the tracks. The livery in the pictures is the standard game livery 3.
Please note, this car in the Salon is under the MK1 not the MK2. Also be aware, since this
is a non-DLC car, you can get wonderful body parts in the tuning store. Those are what I used
in my pictures.
Enjoy!
