Double Tap Remap
Maps the "Double Tap" actions to specific controller buttons or keyboard keys. This mod allows you to easily trigger Mars, Divine Intervention, Hemoptysis, and GB Bug without needing to awkwardly flick the stick twice. This mod does not add any custom items to the item pool and works for all double-tap related items including modded items.
The controller buttons are (for Xbox):
X – Fire "Double Tap Shoot" actions (All but Mars)
Y – Fire "Double Tap Move" actions (Mars)
You will need to go to your controller options and un-map these from their default "Shoot" actions (though this mod still works without unmapping).
The default keyboard keys are:
C – Fire "Double Tap Shoot" actions (All but Mars)
X – Fire "Double Tap Move" actions (Mars)
The controller and key mappings can be changed by downloading Mod Config Menu Pure:

Finally, with Mod Config, you have the option to re-enable the default double-tap behavior and keep the button mappings. This allows you to double tap as normal but adds the button mappings as a second way to trigger each item.
