Khorne’s Gate
A coastal stronghold once controlled by the Imperium of Man, long since fallen to bombardment by the armies of the chaos god Khorne. Fight up the beachfront and around shelled-out Imperial ruins, or defend against invaders from fortified positions.
This map is designed for dynamic large-scale vehicle and infantry combat. I play ~120-140 bots and adjust battle plan/balance according to factions. There’s no way to balance a map for infinite troop and preset combinations, but scenarios can generally go either way after the aforementioned tweaks. I’ve done a ton of fiddling with the navigation to keep vehicles from getting stuck, but if you find a reproducibly glitchy spot, let me know. The plane AI is just flat-out dumb, there will be crashes into the towers and there’s nothing Bush or I can do about it.
