Hey, I’m back. This time around brings a returning and updated mod for the Empire, adding new class units to all of its major factions. As a Roman fan, made this Roman legionnaire.
There is a movement similar to Rome’s heavy step army and the early spear throwing action of 2 times in Rome, and his army is dressed in stunning red and gold.
And also made military buildings that belonged to this Roman legion, starting from the second level to the fourth level. Arms are divided into different levels.
[New unit]
The bulk of the new army consisted of infantry, with some cavalry and catapult artillery optional. I try to make different units serve different purposes, although many units are variants of the same unit with different gear to suit your combat needs.
infantry unit
The bulk of the army is legionnaires who are well trained and decently armored.
Simple unit that doesn’t need much explanation, well armored and able to play different roles.
For example, Legionnaires: a mix of melee and ranged combat, equipped with throwing spears, swords and shields. They are versatile units that can shoot enemies from a distance while being extremely accurate.
Armed with a longsword, greatsword, and shield, they were effective against infantry. Recruited from military buildings (Legion Training Ground, Queue Barracks, Legion Camp, Legion Headquarters).
The Legion Guard Infantry is the best infantry unit you can have, blessed with Legion training, they never tire of fighting and can handle everything well. Can be recruited from Legion Headquarters.
There are two variants of longbowmen, the first one can be deployed as a vanguard, moving fire and weakening the approaching force, a class, any capital city can recruit. Range 125.
Another kind of light-armored archer of the legion is 4 soldiers, which can be reversed, move and shoot, without breaking the armor. 80 Quantity, 23 Ranged Power, 180 Range, Melee Expert, Two-Handed Sword.
Great Swordsman. Simple unit that doesn’t need much explanation, well armored and able to play different roles.
The Legion has well-equipped and well-trained knights capable of both prolonged melee combat and devastating charges, and they deserve a pair in the army.
A mounted version of the Lancer, equipped with a spear and shield. Reversible, 60 people, two recruits
Griffon Knight: A mix of melee and ranged combat, equipped with throwing spears, spears and shields. Sunder Armor, Anti-Big, 48 people, 4 recruits.
Artillery’s versatile bolt thrower that produces some explosive surprises on impact.
Legion catapults are your siege weapon, as you probably already realize they throw fiery rocks at anyone you don’t like in the castle over there.

[new building]
There are currently 2 new buildings, one is used as a barracks and recruits most of the units, as well as recruiting empire captains and increasing the hero cap. There is also an industrial building that will increase the number of garrisoned troops, combined economy (150, 200, 300), development (5, 10, 15), stack economy (5%), and increase the hero cap.

[Artificial Intelligence and Exclusivity]
Units cannot be recruited by AI for the time being, only for major empire factions.

[Technical/Skill Description]
Units will be expanded using the most appropriate skill tree from vanilla units, such as units with halberds using the Halberd technique/skill expansion. Some units will benefit from ranged skills/techniques and melee buffs.

[what’s next]
On the one hand, this mod isn’t finished yet, and I plan to add more content over time, but I want to do something else right now, since I’ve been burned by this mod, so here it is to get some feedback/ Recommendations for new units or subject to change.
Updates to some of my other mods will be slow.

Yes, the mod should work with Border Princes, Estalia or Tilea with or without Cataph’s TEB.
Some issues are missing hero names, unit lines not working in combat, and units not using modified skill trees and techs, meaning there is no unit scaling at the moment, will have to try to fix it later.
