Mazda RX-7 modified to racer specifications. The Mazda’s original rotary engine is retained, but the aero parts have changed the appearance significantly.
The engine is the same Rotary 13B-REW Twin-Turbo as usual, but slightly enlarged and the power output greatly increased. Peripheral equipment has been rearranged to accommodate the higher output. The cooling system has been increased significantly, and ABS has been added.
The tires were changed to a thick racing type, and the ride height was lowered to accommodate high-speed driving. To match the lower ride height, the engine has been placed at a slight forward tilt and the front suspension has been replaced.
Aero parts were added around the car’s body by combining a spoiler with bonus parts. The spoilers are placed on top of each other to separate the carbon fiber from the body color, and other design details were carefully considered. Please refer to the screenshots for installation locations. Note that opening the trunk will move the bonus parts to an unusual position.
The RX-7 has been enhanced in performance until it rivals the latest sports cars, while maintaining the characteristics of the rotary engine. Although the car is low in height, it can be driven on public roads. Have fun with it.
Mazda RX-7をレーサー仕様に改造しました。Mazda独自のロータリーエンジンはそのままに、エアロパーツで外観を大きく変えています。
エンジンは通常と同じRotary 13B-REW Twin-Turboですが、若干大型化し出力を大きく増強。高出力化に合わせ周辺機器は再配置。冷却機器を大幅に増強し、ABSを追加しました。
タイヤは太いレーシングタイプに変更し、車高を下げて高速走行に対応。低い車高にあわせエンジンはわずか前傾に配置し前部サスペンションを交換しました。
車体周辺にはボーナスパーツのスポイラーを組み合わせてエアロパーツを増設。スポイラーを重ねて配置することでカーボンと車体色を分けるなどデザインにはこだわりました。設置箇所はスクリーンショットを参照してください。トランクを開けるとボーナスパーツが異常な位置に移動するので注意してください。
ロータリーエンジンの特性はそのままに、最新スポーツカーに匹敵するまで性能を高めたRX-7です。車高は低いですが公道も走れるよう配慮しています。楽しんでください。
