Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords – NO CONFEDERATION SUBMOD (complete version)
This submod will prevent all confederations and is designed to be used alongside Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1736529254&searchtext=recruit+defeated. RDLL requires that the confederation system be enabled to transfer characters between factions, so alternate means are required to prevent confederation in general gameplay. This mod does two things:
1. The AI has been changed so that it should never offer or accept confederation via diplomacy. This works for player/AI and AI/AI. The option will still appear for the player, but the AI will never accept it.
2. This mod alters CA’s scripts for The Empire, Norsca and Greenskins to remove the confederation effect from the dilemmas. For example, if you’re playing Greenskins and defeat a Greenskin faction leader, the dilemma will appear but if you click "Form Confederation" then nothing will happen.
Hey presto! No confederations.
Fully compatible with SFO.
Editing CA’s scripts makes this mod incompatible with other mods that also edit the same script. By default, this mod will load at the bottom of your mod list, so any conflicting mods will work fine but will overwrite my changes, thus allowing some confederations. I recommend using Kaedrin’s Mod Manager to see if there are any conflicts https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1399787504&searchtext=kaedrins. In fact I’d recommend using Kaedrin’s Mod Manager full stop if you’re not already.
My other version of this mod is more compatible but will not stop confederations via conquest or player controlled Empire factions https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2084498871.
