2022/02/22 update

Rocket lancher and Culverin got shotshell. Very deadly in middle range.
Cannon shell got high penetration.
Add some faction mercenary like nafta camel rider, crossbow camel rider, armoued crossbowmen with two-handed weapon,wardogs mixed with slinger or axe thrower.

artillery overhauled

All artillery increase range, ammo and numbers.they are more accurate to some extent.
tweak projectile trail. it looks less apparent now.

new general roster

longbowmen, trebuchet and motar for England
crossbowmen for Genoa
pikemen for Swiss
great bombard(3 cannons per unit) for ottoman
siphonatores, cheiroballista for Epirus,Nicea,Trebizond
ballista and catapult for France
dismounted knight for Holy roman empire
Culverin for Burgundy
saethwyr for wales
javelinmen for Saxony

General’s artillery has more cannons or siege weapons than normal roster.

General’s ranged unit, melee infantry is 1.25 times more men than normal roster and has higher morale.
Unlike original general unit, mostly shock cavalry and only small numbers per unit, these new commander unit are suited for direct participation into battle, to inflict enemy casualties and suffer casualties.

Battle overhauled

Increase kill percentage and charge bonus.
Increase All projectile and weapon damage.
especially Muskets and its fire rate, but reduce arquebusier’s accuracy and durability in melee.
Increase melee attack chance.

Every ranged units serve its purpose

crossbow for armor piercing. bow for rains of arrow. musket for killing everything in short distance. javelin for ambush strike and close in. nafta for mass destruction in close range. greek fire to deal with infantry in formatiion.
muskets is very disadvantaged against other ranged units in longer distance.

Elephants get 20% more hit points to compensate for its big size (very easy to shoot them).
