Relentless Scavenger Trait
Tired of zombies interrupting your Search Mode? Of the overlay obscuring your vision? Do you want to be able to run without interrupting your foraging? This trait is for you! Inspired from my other mod "Infinite Search Mode".
This mod adds a trait called "Relentless Scavenger" with the following effects:
- Costs 7 points,
- Gives +1 Foraging skill level,
- Running and sprinting won’t disable Search Mode. (you still get a big malus for running and sprinting)
- Nearby zombies won’t disable Search Mode.
- NEW from June 2022 update: Being in a vehicle won’t disable Search Mode.
- Disables all overlay effects of Search mode, including blur effects, saturation effects, radius effects, moodle effects, weather effects and darkness effects (only the effects displayed on screen, you still get the penalties)
- Gives foraging bonuses: +1 search radius, -20% weather effect, -5% darkness effect and +30% Junk Food, Junk Weapons, and Ammunition and +20% Forest Rarities, Medical items, and Dead Animals.
- When you spawn it will automatically enable search mode once.
- It is mutually exclusive with the Agoraphobic trait.
- If you have the mod "Scavenging skill" : Also gives +1 Scavenging skill level.
It is a pretty powerful trait so it makes sense that it costs 7 points. In fact it should probably cost more.
Compatible with "Scavenging Skill" and "More Descriptions For Traits" (41.66 version).
Also compatible with "Custom Foraging Settings".
This mod is based on my other mod "Infinite Search Mode". Making a trait out of it was suggested to me, so here it is.
I would advise not running both this mod and Infinite Search Mode together.
