PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING

SELECT YOUR SPAWN AT THE CAPTURE POINT TO THE WEST.
If you do not select a spawnpoint, you will automatically spawn with the paratroopers, with whom you will spend 5 minutes waiting around and then probably get shot down.

EAGLE’S SUBMARINE IS FOR THE PLAYER ONLY.
To make sure the player gets to use Eagle’s submarine, bots will not attempt to use it.

SHIPS IN THIS MAP WILL BE AVAILABLE SEPARATELY LATER
The Tides of War expansion will include the submarines and surface ships seen in this map, as well as more preconfigured naval maps to use them on.

This map showcases the Vanilla+ submarines, as well as corvettes and destroyers, being made for the upcoming Tides of War naval expansion. Evade detection from enemy corvettes and destroy enemy ships in the harbor to clear the way for airborne troops to capture the Cairn Bay naval base.

Bots: 50
Gamemode: Point Match or Battle
Recommended Config: Vanilla+ Base, Snow Camo

Submarine controls:
– Dive: Crouch (ctrl)
– Surface: Jump (spacebar)
– Deploy sonar decoy: Countermeasures (x)
– Periscope will raise automatically above 15m depth; automatically lower below 15m
– Below periscope depth, select torpedoes and use passive sonar to hunt for targets by scanning with the circle in the middle of your HUD.

Known bugs:
– Ships sometimes run aground (Kuwae class beaching itself, corvettes getting stuck on ice)
– Raven corvettes sometimes bully destroyers and tip them over
– Cruise missile aiming may be off
– AI sometimes goes braindead when trying to use SAMs
