Blades of the Bandit Queen 1.01 | 土匪女王之刃
Welcome to Blades of the Bandit Queen, a unit pack for Total War: Three Kingdoms. It adds three unique units for Zheng Jiang faction complete with custom unit cards, descriptions and a new ability. These units are designed to provide new tactical options in battles as well as add more flavour to Zheng Jiang’s faction.
Vicious Blades
Sabre Infantry. Requires rank 2 to recruit.
Under banners of the Bandit Queen, these women with nothing to lose charge into enemy lines and inspire fellow bandits with their determination.
This is a melee infantry unit dedicated to support the frontline. They are equipped with sabres and shields which gives them protection from missiles. They are weaker than similar melee units but they make up for it with their higher than average morale and ability to inspire others while in close range (see below the description of the ability).
Sky Piercers
Crossbow Infantry. Requires rank 4 to recruit.
These devoted followers of the Bandit Queen train with crossbows day and night to bring her enemies death from the skies.
This is a crossbow infantry intended to support the rear line and fellow missile troops. Their armor is light so they are susceptible to arrows but they are somewhat competent at melee and also can inspire nearby allies with their ability.
Bloodletters
Melee Cavalry. Requires rank 5 to recruit.
Zheng Jiang’s most loyal fighters slice and dice their foes in a deadly iron whirlwind.
This melee cavalry is intended to support other cavalry units, make flanking maneuvers to catch enemy rear line or help the frontline with their inspiring ability. They have high speed, shields and good melee skills, but their armor is light so they are a little squishy.
Cutthroat Loyalty
All new units have this ability and it grants allies a buff to morale if the unit is nearby and not routing. Its effective radius is small so its best to mix these units with other units in order to maximize the effect of this ability. All bandits have weak morale stats so these units can help them fight harder for their Bandit Queen.
This mod is compatible with all popular mods: Unit Remasters by Deema, MTU, Wu Kingdaissance, We’re Different General, Puzzle Illustration, No Death by old age etc.
It will also be compatible with mods that change Zheng Jiang’s unique features, but the elements of the UI on the campaign selection screen might be missing depending on the mod load order.
