Mazda RX-3 Racing Custom with 13B Rotary Engine

This is a race version of the Mazda RX-3. This is a replica of the works machine that dominated the Japanese GP in the early 1970s, recreated with modern technology.
The engine was replaced with a Rotary 13B-REW Twin-Turbo for the RX-7. Peripheral equipment has been relocated to match the engine, and an ECU and intercooler have been added. Part of the gearbox is exposed inside the driver’s seat.
The tires were changed to thick racing type and the ride height was lowered. The rear suspension was changed to a torsion beam system and the brakes to disc type to improve cornering performance.
Bonus parts can be added to the front of the car and the trunk. Spoiler 6 is recommended to be installed on the front part. Note that the bonus parts will be moved to an unusual position when the trunk is opened.
Seats are changed to bucket type. The over fenders cannot be reproduced, but the rest of the appearance is as close to a 70’s race car as possible. The Livery, released at the same time, is a reproduction of Yoshimi Katayama’s works machine that won the Japan GP in 1974.
It is a race-spec RX-3 enhanced with a lightweight chassis and a high-output engine. Have fun with it.

Mazda RX-3のレース仕様です。1970年代前半、日本GPを席捲したワークスマシンを現代の技術で再現したレプリカです。
エンジンはRX-7用のRotary 13B-REW Twin-Turboに交換。周辺機器はエンジンに合わせ再配置し、ECUとインタークーラーを追加しています。ギアボックスの一部が運転席内に露出します。
タイヤは太いレーシングタイプに変更し、車高を下げました。後部サスペンションはトーションビーム方式、ブレーキはディスク式に変更しコーナリング性能を高めています。
車体前部とトランクにはボーナスパーツを追加可能。前部にスポイラー6の取り付けを推奨します。トランクを開けるとボーナスパーツが異常な位置に移動するので注意してください。
シートはバケットタイプに変更。オーバーフェンダーは再現できませんが、それ以外の外観はできるだけ70年代のレースカーに近づけました。同時公開のLiveryは、1974年に日本GPで優勝した片山義美のワークスマシンを再現したものです。
