FU + Hellish Planets Compatibility Patch
Bridges the gap between Hellish Planets and Frackin’ Universe.
Replaces the vanilla Heat effect on Hellish Planets by a combination of Frackin Universe’s Heat 3, Acidic atmosphere 2 and Insanity Atmosphere 2 effect. This means you will require no less than 60% Heat Resistance (or FU Deadly Heat Immunity) to visit a Hellish Planet without suffering from heat, and some kind of acid protection to avoid melting. You will also suffer the same kind of madness gain as on a typical Dark Atropus planet, which can only be negated through high Mental Protection or Insanity Immunity. Ah, and the atmosphere is not breathable. Welcome to Hell!
Hellish Armor has been patched to provide similar set bonuses to FU’s Hellfire armor, plus extra Acid and Insanity immunity. Hellish Shields natively offer a bonus immunity to Insanity. Hellish weapon damage is also boosted when wearing a full set of Hellish armor.
Recipe for the Holy EPP now requires an Acid EPP as base, along with an Insanity Shield Augment and extra Cryogenic extracts, but protects against all the dangers of Hellish planets at once.
All craftable Hellish Equipment can now be crafted in the Armory. All equippable Hellish equipment is upgradeable in the Precursor Crucible.
Hellish Planets will now also spawn around Black and Dying Stars, and have a wider range of danger (T 6-8). Hellish biomes can also appear on Unknown planets!
Frackin’ Universe Volcanic Biome encounters can now also spawn on Hellish Planets, and their underground layers has been enriched with large amounts of Lead, Sulphur, Cinnabar, Pyreite, Quietus, and a few other goodies as you dig further down.
Hadesite ore can be processed in Arc Smelters, with a low chance to produce Pyreite ore, Quietus ore and Plasmic Crystals as byproduct.
Hellish Stone and Hellish Smooth Stone can be crushed. All the new materials can also be extracted. Check out Frackin’ Universe’s Lab Directory for all the recipes!
