Inverse Ballistic Calculator
Calculates a cannon elevation angle to hit the target according to inputted target location. Both direct fire mode and indirect fire mode are available.
- Select the cannon type before spawn a vehicle with this MC.
- Input relative horizontal/vertical distance to target.
- Input true to ‘Fire Mode Input’ node to output elevation angle for indirect fire. Since machinegun and autocannons have very short projectile lifetime, they most likely not be able to conduct indirect firing.
- This MC DOESN’T compensate effect of vehicle tilt. You can fix the output of this MC for more accurate calculation.
v1.3 – Corrected the description of target elevation angle output node.
v1.2 – Fixed problems not been fixed in v1.1.
v1.1 – Fixed a problem that not being able to find a direct fire solution when selecting a gun with a short life time.
