The original apparently had multiple unique items but someone didn’t want that so they reuploaded it with the character by themself. Sadly this was deleted and so was the one with the items. I don’t know why they were deleted but I really enjoy playing as this character so here he is again! I’ve updated the UI for Repentance. Nothing else has been changed as I don’t know how to do much when it comes to modding besides really basic things.

Adds a new character based on Monstro, featuring a challenging and unique control scheme.
Monstro starts the game with 5 heart containers and the Monstro’s Lung item, however he can only move by jumping! While in the air, he is immune to damage and deals damage to enemies that he passes by, but is unable to charge or fire his tears.
Increasing your speed stat increases the frequency of your jumps, and gaining the ability to fly will cause you to cease jumping altogether. This is a repackaged version of an existing mod, that adds the character alone and does not add any items to any item pools, for people who just want the character and nothing else. It is not recommended to install this mod and the other Playable Monstro mod at the same time (nothing bad will happen, it’s just sort of redundant).

The tainted version of Monstro. Removes Monstro’s lung and instead Gish comes equipped with ipecac and ball of tar. Gish has 3 hearts and 2 black hearts compared to regular Monstro’s 5 hearts.
