Magpie’s Vitiligo Add-On
Adds a slot for birthmarks and vitiligo to the customization interface, with six vitiligo patterns and three extra markings to choose from.
Vitiligo is a genetic condition in which patches of skin lose the cells responsible for manufacturing pigment. It’s usually harmless in itself … although that melanin is there for a reason, so it makes you a lot more likely to get skin cancer … and it’s most visible on dark-skinned people. This mod allows you to give vitiligo (and a couple minor birthmarks) to the faces of your Wildermyth heroes, creating a new pulldown called "Slot: Markings" on the head and hair customization page.
Here’s what you can add to that slot from this pack:
-Two (2) natural/realistic vitiligo pattern markings
-Four (4) somewhat more fantastical vitiligo patterns inspired by the elemental spirits
Plus three extras:
-One (1) translucent white stripe made to match the "badger people" NPCs
-Two (2) facial moles/beauty marks
Facial markings have roughly 56-to-1 odds of turning up on a randomly generated background NPC, so you’ll only see them very occasionally if you didn’t deliberately choose them.
NOTE to modders: if you want to add birthmarks to the same slot, add the line |"extraSlot": "Markings",| to your json immediately after the "type" line.
