This is a tiny personal project based on my equally tiny mod for tModLoader (a Terraria thing).
For curiosity => stable branch | preview branch

It also includes items and objects from the Mod of Redemption.
Credits to Hallam, Tied, and other artists involved in the creation of the original sprites.

This is not officially related!

but I have chatted with Hallam about its contents.

– no cooldown or energy usage
hold down while double-tapping to crouch-dash
Jump Tech
– altered Wall Jump with less horizontal velocity
– no tool usage suppression
– air jump resets on wall contact
Infected Water (interacts with various liquids and blocks)

-immune to xenomite, infected water, and radiation
-weak against physical attacks
(Hallam asked Tied, and said xenomite would be weak to "rocks or metal")
-can produce xenomite crystal seeds by hand
-can craft a Xenomite Flag
-has a xenomite-colored variant of the old Avian crystal SAIL

Nuclear Warhead, sprited for MoR by Tied, recreated in Starbound by Void
irradiated dirt, cobblestone, mud, clay, sand, silt, sandstone, ice, and snow

Redemption ores are scattered around several biomes, but they don’t currently have much use. Xenomite can be used to craft a few things.

This is still a VERY incomplete mod, and I do intend to get to work on more things, but right now, I really want to explore the universe.

Also, we’re going to need someone to figure out how to recreate the actual debuffs from MoR, primarily the escalating xenomite infection and radiation debuffs, as well as how to make only low levels of them be curable via the Anti-Crystallizer Serum and … the Anti-Radiation Pills I need to add at some point.

I suggest familiarizing yourself with Hallam and the team’s mod work before you take a stab at it, to understand how it should be.

I recommend you pick up the Augment Extractor mod, because the augments in this mod can be upgraded, and there’s no way to just take them out of a piece of equipment after putting them in, though if you’re using Frackin’ Universe, it has its own copy.

Also, if you do use FU, I have a patch for this mod’s species, to make use of the racial effects.

I’m hoping someone would be willing to aid me with recreating MoR’s infection debuff(s), and making xenomite shards embedded in blocks apply the effect(s). Also, an Anti-Crystallizer Serum in the mod is meant to knock the infection back a stage.

Lua is too difficult for me to wrap my head around, especially something like this effect that ramps up as it persists, so for someone with better skills than me who’s interested in trying to tackle the infection and make it feel authentic, click here to see what’s involved.[github.com]
