Gardens Make Oxygen
Garden, Small Garden, Alley and Small Alley (and Large garden with DLC) produce a small amount of oxygen in addition to providing comfort as usual.
They also require maintainance with concrete to balance this new usefulness.
Small Gardens/Alleys: produce 0.1 Oxygen and require 0.5 concrete maintainance
Medium Gardens/Alleys: produce 0.3 Oxygen and require 1 concrete maintainance
Large Gardens (Colony Design Set DLC): produce 1 Oxygen and require 2 concrete maintainance
Stone gardens are not affected.
