The NLL800 Grizlly is a heavy duty 8×8 SAR vehicle based on the reliable NordahlLunden AMV platform. Originally designed for an ICV contract for the NQAF the AMV:s potential in civlian fields especially SAR was realised. The NLL800 is a variant with a raised roof and an enlarged rear ramp to provide space for an iterior medical bed and ease the loading of casualties into the vehicle. It sill retains a number of features that make it military origin very clear mainly amphibious capabilites and CBRN protection. It was also installed with a number of comfort featurs mainly more comfortable seating for the crew and passengers.
