RHS BTR-82

The BTR-82 is a further modification of the BTR-80.
The engine was replaced with a more powerful one, because the armor of the APC became thicker.The new APC has acquired a new Fire Control System (FCS), a two-plane stabilizer and a laser rangefinder.The armament was also updated:The PKT was replaced by a PKTM with a belt of 2000 cartridges, the main armament remained the same, but with more modern and effective ammunition.
In addition to Night Vision Devices, FCS has acquired a Thermal Imaging sight.There are also two fire modes:With the camera locking Gunner’s sights to a certain point and without it.
In 2010 it was adopted and by our time has already passed several conflicts and is operated in different countries besides Russia.
