Description:

This mods adds unit caps into the game in a similair fashion as the tabletop game.

All units have been divided into 4 categories: characters, core, special and rare. The characters and rare categories each have a cap of 25% of the army limit while the special category has a cap of 50% of the army limit. Each army needs to have a minimum of 25% of the current army cost in core units. The army limit for players is 1700 while the army limit for the AI is 2000. (These are subject to change, please provide feedback in the comments if you feel these numbers are off) If you do go over the army limits, or if you don’t have enough core units, the army will get a massive debuff to both replenishment rate and upkeep cost. This debuff will only go into effect starting from the 6th turn to give some lords like Ikit Claw the opportunity to fix their armies before getting hit with the debuff.

This mod was inspired by seeing both table top caps by Prussianwarfare and Drunk flamingo and cost-based army caps by Jadawin. This mods uses Jadawin’s mod as a basis to add onto. This mod is uploaded with the permission of Jadawin.

FAQ
  • Is this mod compatible with x mod?

currently this mod is only compatible with mods that don’t add in other units, or are listed in the compatible mods list. This is something I’m planning on working on in the future, however I won’t make this mod compatible with overhaul mods(like SFO and Radious) since they have their own form of balance.

  • why does x unit have this cost?

if you have any suggestions you can leave them in the comment section. I really appreciate any feadback you have, especially regarding balance.
