Ski Resort with Second Generation Ski lifts
INTRODUCTION
This is a ski resort with second generation ski lifts. You guys really enjoyed my ski lifts on mega island so I collaborated with xbabushka to create a ski resort at the arctic volcano.
Please note: this creation is always active and WILL slow down your game. Only if you have a good computer will it work ok, for others I recommend to check out once, or either watch videos about it. Again this creation features lots of little details scattered around the island.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The island is located at a radius of maximum of 20 km from the arctic airbase. To find it more easily it is recommended to set view distance to max which is 20000 meters, find it, then set it back to default.
Now, to get there I and xbabushka recommend you take the alpine plane done by xbabushka: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2128908308&searchtext=alps+plane, fly there and land on the included runway on the island, there you can park it and refuel it if needed, in fact you could even take a helicopter!
Also, please note, the diesel refueling might not work but i am sure Jet A-1 works
BEST PLAYING MODE
When you are on the island I recommend you to set the fog to 20% and try the creation at night and a sunset (17:00). And once try it during rain at about 50% (snow)

SKI LIFTS
Ski lifts are upgraded from the my first creation, first and foremost upgraded cabins which look fantastic, each cabin includes a lua screen where you could control heaters, emergency doors, and two cameras. Now the cabins kind-of stop smoothly. Of course I have upgraded the buildings a bit so that their appearance is more realistic.
Please note: ski lifts are much faster than when you check them out, because of so many creations, the game is slowed down by a lot.
ALPINE RESTAURANT AND SKI RENT
Both of those buildings are done by xbabushka for the resort. The alpine restaurant features seats on the outside and inside, a bar, and a kitchen. The style of this restaurant is taken from different places in Austria.
Ski rent is a building where you could rent skis or even buy them (of course stormworks does not feature skis for player use but its cool we added them). This building also includes different famous ski logos such as Spyder for showcasing around the building
RUNWAY
Our resort also features a runway, It is located on the north of the island. It includes refueling for planes that use Jet A-1 and Diesel and a parking slot for planes or even a helicopter if you want.
ISLAND SIGNS, MAPS AND SNOW CANNONS
All small ski resort details such as snow cannons and slope signs are done by me (OrbGaming) and the island maps are done by xbabushka, they do not have a clear purpose but are there just for looks. The snow canons also do not have a purpose however, if you look at them at night, they light up.
ALPINE PLANE (CESSNA DENALI)
I (xbabushka) built this Cessna Denali specifically as a plane for the ski resort. This plane is quite simple, powered by 1 medium diesel engine. This plane has more than enough fuel to get you to the destination and because it’s small, can easily land on the custom runway at the ski resort. This plane has enough to seat 6 passengers, and has heaters and arctic gear included. Have a pleasant flight!
