Description:

When it comes to mining asteroids, choosing the automated over the manned extractor is a no-brainer:
Even though it is less efficient, one automated extractor is still efficient enough that it can pretty much fully deplete a resource deposit in the time window before the asteroid moves out of range, all while being much less expensive in terms of resources for construction and maintenance.

This mod gives the manned extractor much needed love, so both options are feasible.
It changes three main things:

1. Production output
The production output for the automated extractor is reduced to make it so one automated extractor is not enough to fully deplete a deposit in the time available. The manned extractor also had its output reduced so their productivity ratio remains similar. Low-G Habitats had their capacity increased to 18 so only one is needed to fully operate two extractors.

2. Construction costs
Buildings that are necessary for manned mining require less advanced resources for construction. The Low-G Habitat consumption of water, oxygen and energy is also lower.

3. Research
The Micro-G Mining tech now unlocks both automated and manned extractors. The Advanced Micro-G Mining Operations tech increases the number of workers necessary to operate an extractor from 9 to 12, while increasing production output by 50%.
