Escape | Chernarus 2035 (No ACE)

Isolated and cut-off from their commands, operators from two rival PMCs compete for weapons and equipment in a bid to survive and extract from no-man’s land in war-torn Chernarus.

This is a variant of my singleplayer scenario heavily inspired by Battlestate Games’ hardcore shooter "Escape From Tarkov" which doesn’t utilize any ACE mechanics, which should hopefully address a variety of issues stemming from that mod. The player is tasked with conducting raids in several strategic locations across a devastated Chernarus in a bid to secure the weapons and equipment neccessary to survive in this unforgiving wasteland.

This version is currently HEAVILY BUGGED and also remains a work-in-progress.

– Engage in brutal 3-faction warfare with challenging AI opponents.
– Safehouse to manage stored equipment or purchase/sell weapons & items from the trader.
– Employ a wide selection of quality and high-fidelity firearms from the fantastic RHS and NI Arms mod collections.

This scenario and the author are in no way affiliated with Battlestate Games or any of their products. The scenario may not be commercialised in any way and it’s use is prohibited on monetized servers, it is simply meant to be played and enjoyed.

I have been developing this mission on and off for over a year, and during that time the format of both this scenario and ‘Escape from Tarkov’, the game on which it is based, have evolved dramatically from where they started. Because of this, like the actual game, it’s eventual completion and release always gets pushed back. Thus I wanted to release the mission in it’s current state in the hopes that the ArmA community will enjoy playing it, provide helpful feedback and even continue to develop the mission framework. This scenario is open source, so feel free to modify and re-release it however you please.

As this scenario remains a Work-In-Progress, there are still a few missing features:
– An EFT-style tasks & levelling system.
– Although the scenario is singleplayer, you are required to host and play on a LAN server for the respawn and finances to work properly.
