Description:
Overview

The iconic Eclipse apartment tower from the popular video game Grand Theft Auto 5! (online edition). Features a fully detailed interior* including lobby, garage, and apartment #40! This was a build worked on for many hours, by me and my good friend TurtleKarambit. The tower also is super tall, approx. 224 blocks tall, and also possibly the biggest build on the workshop, with over 500,000 blocks! Also banana for scale in the first screenshot picture.

* Only lobby, garage and apartment are detailed, elevator shaft and hallway to the apartment are poorly detailed because 1-you cant go there in game 2-lack of resources about the detail. Also, the entire tower is hollow, to keep down block count, and weight.

WARNING: this is EXTREMELY laggy, please see the performance listed below just so you can make the right decision about the fate of your computer…

Performance
This was taken off an i7 dual core @2.5ghz and a nVidia gtx 940m at med. settings:
~23 fps when welded to the ground
~9 fps when editing blocks around the build (when welded)
~7 fps when loose on the ground

takes approx. 12 seconds to spawn… so.. yeah.
also approx. 7 seconds to either take off or put on a lift..

disclaimer: this is not a 100% perfect replication from GTA5, that is impossible. This is Scrap Mechanic, be real. id say its around 80-90% accurate.
