Description:
Description

This mod is a sucessor to Slatt’s African Union Mini mod ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1591016587 ), it expands on that by using the Aegis modsuite to add two new fully functional factions.

Id heavily recommend using it alongside 2035 Central Africa and AEW’s North African Campaign mods.

Content

Two new factions
– African Union (Desert) [INDEP]
– African Union (Woodland) [INDEP]

Weapons:

OBJ-30: A licensed version of the Chinese CAR-95, rechambered for 7.62×39 mm and produced in Nigeria. Its combination of a compact bullpulp design, cheap spare parts and even cheaper ammunition has made it the main service rifle of the African Union Peaceekeeping Force. Also available in GL or SAW versions, or with woodern furniture.

Camo Patterns:

-CHADPAT Desert
-CHADPAT Woodland

CHADPAT is a digital camouflage based on the classic American M81 woodland pattern, developed in Chad, it gained populairty all over Africa.

Known Issues:
No Editor Previews
OBJ32S Drum magazine is possessed by a demon (demon eliminated)

Lore

The African Union Peacekeeping Force (AUPF) started as a branch of the African Security Force, designed to take over peacekeeping duty hastily from the ever shrinking UN African security detachment in light of its funding reaching an all-time low. Proving itself even more effective than the force it was designed to compensate the absence of, the AUFP was deemed competent and valuable enough to outright absorb the ASF, forming now the main military force of the African Union. Come 2036, the African Union Peacekeeper Force has been deployed all over the continent, in any assignment from demilitarization of the Lombakkan border and protection of controversial Egyptian elections to demobilizing guerilla forces in Bocano. More recently, its presence was required to disarm both the Tura tribes and SFIA forces in Sefrou-Ramal, Argana.
