began when the china claim natuna sea is part of them,but the Indonesia does not accept the china claim,because its part of indonesia sea.the tensions began to heat up when chinese troops entered the territory of indonesia, and there also indonesia sent their troops to repel the chinese forces,,Indonesia start more closer to the US because of that,they start buying equipment from the west,,they are close to the west not because of allies,just a strategic partners,,Indonesia is still In Independent (Non Block) Side,impartial to anyone,except ASEAN
