Dye Already !
This mod is all about coloring your equipment, so you can finally have that pink armour you always dreamed of.
Requires Norbyte’s Script extender (v56 or greater).
Requires LeaderLib (put it above Dye Already in the load order).
Simple: you can dye equipment you have equipped, or in your inventory. To do that, right click on it and select "Dye".
You can choose one of the built-in dyes in the Standard tab, but you can also create yours in the Create tab. A dye is made of 3 colors, each of them being applied to different parts of the armors/weapons (depending on the model, sometimes only one or two colors are used).
You can change each colors individually by clicking the squares, apply and even save your creation. Just give it a name and you will be able to find it in the Saved tab.
Saved dyes can be found in DocumentsLarian StudiosDivinity Original Sin 2 Definitive EditionOsiris DataDyes.json
Some equipments cannot be recolored, such as the Gift Bag armor sets. Their texture simply doesn’t have the necessary channels to display different colors.
This mod is non-intrusive and will not make any meaningful modifications to the game items. It is then compatible with all other mods and can be activated/deactivated without any risk.
Be wary that disabling this mod will make equipments revert to their original colors. Re-enabling it should bring the colors back, however.
The mod is currently not compatible with controllers.
Norbyte of course, for his wonderful extender and for listening to my requests.
LaughingLeader for his numerous advices on the engine.
Pip for requesting Norbyte the ability to create/modify color entries on the fly.
