Beast of Light – Arcanadon (beta testing)
I uploaded this mod as testing, as theres some problems (nothing gamebreaking), but wanted some feedback.
The Arcanadon is a rare beast found in Lustrian jungles and was originally fitted with the Engine of Gods until the Stegadon took over.
It can be recruited in were Dread saurians are, but that the tier is a subject of change.
– Didnt want to just make another Engine of Gods carrier so i decided to make a non lore friendly Engine. Lorewise the Engine of gods charges also the energy of the beast that carries it into its attack so i thought of making the Arcanadon more of a beast that has a special organ to produce Light beeing able to use lightbeams to strike enemies.
– Effect: The Engine of Light is a wide area buff for friendly units, increeasing Melee Defence by 15, Spell Resistance by 20%, Leadership by 10 and imbues them with magical attacks. However as the beast itself powers the engine, this effect becomes weaker the more its fatigue is.
– Lightbeam attacks have some weird vfx spots that pop up
– Hitboxes of Lightbeam attacks might not be correct yet
– The double Beam attack has hit issues
– Lore firendly? – somewhat, the Arcanadon and most visuals are, the Engine of Light and concept of Light organ/beam attacks arent.
– Planned stuff for it: ROR version, maybe new abilities
