PM-3 is the third iteration in the PM (Pistol Mitraliur, literally means Sub Machine Gun) series by Pindad, a government owned armaments manufacturer, getting improvements from the previous PM-2 such as gas operated design (PM-1 and PM-2 is blowback operated) and a RIS handguard. Pindad manufacturs this weapon as an urban operation weapon, CQB, and hostage rescue. Despite that, this weapon is rarely seen in the hands of Indonesian operators nor police.

Standard Version: smaller damage drop off, faster bullet, smaller impact force, smaller damage because faster bullet (balance)
Suppressor Version: higher damage drop off, slower bullet, higher impact force, suffers from higher bullet drop
