Here’s a quick history recaps that help you understand what this mod is about and why it is like that.

For the Abbasids: As you may know, It came to an end after the Mongol Invasion of the Middle East, and more precisly the siege and sack of Baghdad. However, a part of the dynasty escaped to the Mamluks Sultanate. The Abbasid Caliphate ended with the Ottoman conquest of Egypt when the Ottomans Sultans took the title for themselves.

For the Fatimids: The Fatimid Caliphate, after a period of decline, ended when Saladin, an Advisor of the last Fatimid Caliph, decide to take to abolish it, declare himself sultan (of the Ayyubids Sultanate) and recognize the Abbasid Caliphate.

For the Almohads: The Almohad Caliphate after a period of success against the Christian Kingdoms in Iberia, lose a major battle at the Las Novas de Tolosa which leads to desingratation of the caliphate into 4 dynasties/sultanates: Morocco, Tunis, Tlemcen and Granada, which all still stand in 1444!

So what this mod does?
It permits you to reform the Abbasid Caliphate(as the Mamluks), the Fatimid Caliphate or the Almohads Caliphate. You can also proclaim your own caliphate as well!

For Abbasids: Only Mamluks can "form" them. Forming them will reduce your stability by 3, give you a low legitimacy ruler. But you get Abbasids ideas, the caliphate reform (and their special tier reforms if you reached their respective tiers), and a very fletched out mission tree with 58 missions combining conquest, construction, deving, controling trade and specific goods production and more!

For Fatimids: Any Shia tag with Berber, Tunisian or Egyptian primary culture can form them. They get their own ideas, the same caliphate reforms and the same mission tree + 2 specific missions related Fatimid’s history.

For Almohads: The four successors can form it: Granada, Morocco, Tlemcen and Tunis (note that Tunis and Morocco are formables of their own so you can get to form Almohad as almost anyone technically). You also get their own ideas, the same caliphate reforms except the Amir Sovereignty one, instead you get the Taifa Administration. Almohad do not have their own missions yet though. You also got some decisions to make major Iberic cities Moorish again(Toledo, Cordoba, Sevilla, Lisboa, etc…).

This mod also removes the decision "Adopt the Title of Khalif" one. Instead, you get "Proclaiming a new Caliphate". In order to do so, you need: 100 prestige, 100 legitimacy, be a great power, 2 stability and 150 administrative power. You will get all the reforms (Caliphate, Theocracy and Amir sovereignty). Enacting this decision doesn’t block you from restoring the caliphate I mention above. (Note that Mamluks can’t have this decision).

Another small change is Anduclian culture (representing the Moors in Iberia) has been moved to the Maghrebi culture group.

Sorry for a long time of not updating this mod but it is finally updated and correctly with a bit more content, fixes and more balance! I will try to keep this updated now(I made it much much easier to update so should be good) and hopefully add more content and mechanics (notably for staying Mamluks and protector of the Caliphs, aka a true Sultan, will see!)
