MWS-B | L120/27 "Mallet" 120mm Stabilised Naval Gun
Information
The L120/27 "Mallet" is a 120mm Medium Weight Autoloading Naval Gun designed for usage on ships such as large fast attack craft and as a primary armament for smaller-scale frigates & destroyers alike. The term "mallet" stems from the L120’s hard-hitting power capable of knocking out a vessel in one fell blow.
The L120/27, similar to its cousin the L76, has its own variant of a similar control system including fire modes: Single Shot, Burst Shot [3 Shots Per] & finally Automatic allowing for a large variety of different handling for situations. It also takes advantage of a very small-scale autoloading system allowing for constant fire at any pitch angle and also allowing the turret to have a magazine capable of storing 41 rounds of mixed High Explosive & Fragmentation rounds.
