F1 1996/Indycar UPDATE for F1 2021 mod
This mod is designed to update the 1996 mod to coincide with the F12021 mod (both by Eddiemarkwick and full credit to him!)
Have the F12021 mod installed? Trying to play the F1 1996 mod at the same time but every time you start the driver ages are outta sync, contracts end immediately, staff leave… etc etc? Well here’s the fix!
Drivers and all staff contracts (designers/engineers/principals) will no longer expire upon commencing a new game (meaning nobody leaves immediately), also the driver ages are calculated correctly for the new game calendar start date of 2021 (instead of being ridiculously old i.e Damon Hill 41 instead of 36).
Copy and paste these 4 database files over/into the ORIGINAL F1 1996/Indycar mod (databases folder) to make it work! (You NEED the ORIGINAL MOD to play otherwise this is purely .txt files! – see required files for link!)
– Note i have only updated the relevant F1 drivers/rookies/staff i haven’t touched any other series in the game, this is purely a F1 style update.
