Final Chance – Shem Settlement (Final Version)
Please note you’re about to play a mod made by an idiot who has no prior history of modding.
The largest and hopefully final update. Final Chance now contains an HQ building with three new characters to interact with. In addition, the lore has been expanded to include a hunting camp in the Burning Forest zone along with a sub-faction called the "Hunters of Chance". Expanded dialogue and exposition, if that’s your thing.
As you cross the expansive wasteland of Shem on your way to Flat Lagoon, you notice a small town strategically hidden behind the hills. Despite collecting all sorts of maps, none indicate the existence of a settlement in southern Shem. Upon your approach, you eventually learn the name of this seemingly unremarkable town, Final Chance.
The town itself is lore friendly so you don’t have to worry too much about ruining your overall immersion. There are a few characters that you can interact with that’ll provide some additional context and expect a bit of humor here and there.
Final Chance offers a nice resting stop on the way to Flat Lagoon and can even provide some security if you intend to set up shop in Shem.
