More powerful Vassals and Dukes
Updated for 1.7.* patch. Compatible with everything, excepting mods change next values I’m going to explain.
A little mod to make vassals gameplay meaningful. and make dukes able to declare war to emperors as it was in
1066 for example in Norman – Romans wars
now counts have +4, dukes +3. kings +2 and emperors +1.
For balance, now emperors and kings bigger vassal limit, have +1 knight more than vanilla. -1 knight for dukes and counts.
Now you can’t be the king of Portugal without a single vassal. This doesnt make any sense even in XVII century.
Direct vassal opinion:
Level 1 +15
Level 2 -20
Level 3 -50
level 4 -70
In my AI tests, in the final version of the game everything looks fine. Now dukes are strong, they have more direct control of territory as it should be.
I improved AI because in vanilla devs dont write nothing about autority rank up AI. And we have thousands of tiranny wars. Now:
a) If a AI ruler is a child, he choose an authority level 1. This is a "regency level" and in this way AI should prevent rebel war with a weak ruler.
b) Now authority level up for AI will be possible only with correct prestige level. So Authority 2 is avalaible only for AI characters with prestige level 2 (distinguished). Authority 3 level 3 and authority 4 level 4.
In this way only respected Rulers can have more power. And less rebel wars. If needed, in the next version
I can change authority cooldown.
For player, also for RP purpose, no changes.
