Sakhalin Island Streams
This map represents the terrain of Sakhalin Island, in the Russian Far East, a land criss-crossed by streams, hills, and fir forests.
Sakhalin Oblast is a land of unrealised potential comrade. Our prospectors have discovered vast oil and coal reserves in an area that is almost unpopulated. We will need to sponsor migration, as well as pay for power supply from Yuzhino-Sakhalinsk for our project to work. We have also discovered very little iron, so steel will need to be imported at great cost. To assist our efforts, we have potential trading links with Yuzhino-Sakhalinsk, Vladivostok, Japan, and Alaska.
