LIDAR
A handy tool for exploring dark areas, nothing scary about it at all 🙂
Obviously inspired by Scanner Sombre and the LIDAR mod for g-mod. I highly recommend checking them both out.
Maximum amount of scanned points is limited to 20k by default due to performance reasons, but this can be adjusted in the options menu. Some bugs and glitches may occur, please report to me if you experience any.
CONTROLS:
G: toggle LIDAR on/off
B: clear all blips
N: change display color mode
Tool in hand and LIDAR enabled:
E/Q: increase/decrease scanner radius
lmb: scan in a circular shape
mmb: toggle low-quality automatic scanning
rmb: take a high-quality snapshot, but using up all available blips
KNOWN ISSUES
changing max blip amount while the colors are updating will make them not update properly
-reset settings to default to fix
